Imagine a circle about 30cm in diameter, with the ball aimed in the middle. I'd say maybe 60% would land in the circle, and if you extend the circle another 10cm or so, maybe 90%? Mind you, I have about 3 types of balls in the robot, so it's not surprising that it's not exactly the same. But even when new and with the same balls, it was never within a few centimetres every time. So it's fairly accurate, but by no means exact. However, that actually suits me, since I only want the balls in a general location anyway. One final thing, this goes for depth as well as side to side placement, so I don't think it's just the deflector as much as the natural variation of the robot and the different balls I have in there. Let's say when setting only one type A ball with top spin which landing in the middle of one half of the table, when playing repeately at the rate of 65-75 balls per minute, have you ever seen the ball landing off more than 6-12 inches right or left of the desire spot?
