How big is the current legal table size because at home i have
a big one and at school we have one thats about 10-20cm shorter which one?
Greg replies:
The size of the table tennis table is set out in Law 2.1.1 which
is as follows:
The upper surface of the table, known as the playing surface,
shall be rectangular, 2.74m long and 1.525m
wide, and shall lie in a horizontal plane 76cm above the
floor.
You will occasionally see table of different sizes, although they
would never be used for official competions under ITTF rules. They
can still be fun to play on though!
